Born and raised in the Yakima Valley, Jeannine's practice has grown out of a lifelong love of learning and embracing her natural instinct to care for others. As a child she spent much of her time on her grandmother's farm, where she collected farm fresh eggs, picked grapes to help her grandmother make fresh jam and enjoyed playing in the dirt. She also spent much of her summer weekends camping with her parents. Being raised on a farm and amongst nature this is where she felt the most like herself.
Following her graduation, Jeannien pursued a career in the dental field. At that time she began experiencing back and neck pain that was exacerbated by a previous car accident and the diagnosis of scoliosis. This led her to many doctors for answers, all with the same outcome..."You just have to learn to live with it." Thus the journey of proactive self-care began.
The desire and the drive to live a holistic, healthy, pain free lifestyle laid the foundation of Jeannien's profession, and in 2010 she attended the Yakima Valley Body Therapy School of Massage. There she studied anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and various modalities of massage. Then in 2014 Jeannien attended the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. There she studied over 100 dietary theories, and learned from the world's top nutrition experts, in turn discovering her true passion and calling, discovering her signature style and paving the path to the specialized work she practices today.
In her spare time Jeannien loves to hike and explore new places with her family, she finds solitude and peace in her garden, enjoys yoga and is a wanna be master chef.
